The company was awarded the Golden Jupiter Prize (Goldjupiter-Wirtschaftspreis „Soziale Marktwirtschaft" ) by the "Wirtschaftskomitee Deutschland e. V. (WBA)", for its outstanding commitment in the field of job creation and training. Furthermore Christian Seifert, CEO of avenit, was appointed Senator honoris causa for the Federal Economic Senate (BUNDESSENAT Wirtschaft) as well as for the Europe Senate (EUROPASENAT) which represents the highest honor awarded by the organization.

"Wirtschaftskomitee Deutschland e. V. (WBA)", a social and non-profit German association, honours figures from business, science and politics who have excelled in outstanding ways through their economic, scientific, cultural or political dedication in the sense of the social economy as well as the unification of the European peoples in freedom and peace.

Within just 4 weeks avenit has created the official website for the Expo 2010 pavilion of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Until the start of the Expo in Shanghai, the website will be gradually extended with more information and interactive features.

At the end of September 2008 avenit was awarded the contract to create the website of the German pavilion. Contractor of the project is Koelnmesse International on behalf of the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology.
